This was a "sitcom" type of Christian film. We may laugh, we may get emotional at points, the technical quality is adequate for broad consumption, and the acting is surface and for effect. But in the end, it's mental and spiritual fodder.

The sad thing about this film is the pretentiousness. Families that have everything financially, feel entitled to everything, and have people around them just like themselves. The Ladies "bible study" is adult coloring books and discussion in a posh elegant patio setting only extremely wealthy would have. The wedding preparations are ridiculous. Opps, Grandma ruined a $5000 dress at the dress store... oh thats a funny little thing that was easily dealt with.

Everything turns out wonderful!!!! Isn't that the message of the Gospel? That even when times get tough in this world, they always get great again because heaven on earth is what we deserve. Oh they prayed a couple times, including the serenity prayer at the coloring book study.
