Batman is hot, cinematography, design, sound (that car chase?), all that shit is incredible (I do wonder how the LED screen stuff will age). A lot of individual parts and scenes I loved.

Overall it felt lacking.

Also it’s ideological dogshit, especially revealed in the closing act.

Probably being a bit harsh though, this is by far better than any other superhero film of the current  era. Based on its visuals and action etc I’d say 4 star, the overly long plot and still rushed romance I’d say 3.5, then it’s garbage ideology down further. But I keep wanting to bring it up because I V enjoyed it a lot and respect it for what it’s doing.

Also love Year One and the along Halloween and I really enjoyed this take on Batman.
