Under the Silver Lake 2018
One minute of silence for all the men that won't get that this is satire and will want to self-insert in the psychopathic mentally-ill delusional incel that Andrew Garfield plays in this absolute masterpiece.

Everything is a Remix Remastered 2015
The idea of the Everything is a Remix (EiaR) documentary is in the title itself. Ferguson shows through examples in music, film, and software, that the things people create are all essentially remixes of previous things. He simplifies the basic elements of creativity into "copy, transform, and combine." I really connect to the director's humor, ideas, and filmmaking style and I am a proud supporter of his ongoing content.
EiaR has had a huge influence on the way I look…

Everything is a Remix Remastered 2015
A perfect documentary about ideation, creation, remixing and most importantly industry. A doc that I watch every couple of years to remind myself that ideas are flexible, are shareable and not unique.
The joy of creating and allowing someone else to create.
My favorite part has always been 4 but due to the shortness of it, it doesn't criticize the industry as much. I always try to pair this with Rip! A Fix Manifesto.

Spring 2014
“I don't want to die and I don't want to watch anyone die.”
Director Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead’s slow burn love story between a troubled man and a lovecraftian entity is a beautifully shot, wonderfully acted and believably intimate exploration of life, death and evolution which all culminates in an emotionally satisfying yet ambiguous ending. Although used sparingly, the film’s body horror sequences and the makeup effects used for them are well done and make a memorable impression.
My favourite of the romantic horror subgenre.
