Collin’s review published on Letterboxd:
The problem with most superhero movies is the need to set up a franchise or shared universe through awkward exposition or unnecessary cameos. Studios are too focused on the future that most superhero movies come out neglected. But having Wonder Woman set in WWI was a great decision because it prevented the film from having that common problem! Patty Jenkins has the freedom to tell the story she wants to tell without the studio interfering and that was refreshing to watch. There are some problems with the CGI and script. Also the third act is a little unfocused but I didn't think it was as big of a problem as some people. Wonder Woman was able to fix most of the problems related to franchise films giving us one of the best superhero movies in years.
