“The sun still rises every mornin’ and sets every evenin’.”
    Always another day, right?
    Yeah, so far.

okay third and final review. I just want to pen all my feelings down.
First, I’m so moved, I barely made a sound after the film finished. Every scene, every little movement of the camera served a purpose, maybe most of which I didn’t understand, a lot of motifs and repeating elements. But maybe I don’t have to understand it all. I am…

I live for films like these
This is beautifully crafted, I have never seen anything like this. Visual poetry in every frame.

  • Chola

    Chola

This movie was disturbing in every possible way. It made me so uncomfortable right from the start buuuut i liked it. Though i wasn't able to understand the ending like at aLL, i appreciate the movie as a whole, the way they tried to show the heightening fear and anxiety and then all of that finally culminating in this disturbing, but peaceful (??) ending scene was honestly one of the best things ever. nimisha sajayan is incredibly underrated someone give her the oscar she deserves !!

was super excited to watch this film after everything i'd hear about it. but it was a let down ngl, the emotions portrayed felt shallow and the old guy makeover they gave Joju is so distracting idk why, some of the scenes made me cringe soooo baaaad. wasn't into the movie as a whole

colman Domingo: *hears something at night and runs downstairs ready to dial 911*
me: *emerges out of the shadows holding a dish of pancakes* so idk how to start this therapy session but I guess my childhood trauma is rooted in the fact that maybe I didn’t get much attention or maybe I was-

  • Gone Girl

    ★½

I didn’t get through this film cause the characters are FUCKING ANNOYING, who even talks like that.....maybe I need to rewatch and then I’ll realise how good it is but for now I’ll just see this film as annoying.

    Euphoria: Trouble Don't Last Always

euphoria just gave me a therapy session when I was most in need of it....thank you.....like, they really took their time to get to the root of so many problems and worked through each of them and shut down toxic ways of thinking and called out Rue for the same. this episode was so special, I cannot stress more on how so many people need to take time out and watch it
