Greenberg 2010
I was invested in the characters of Stiller & Gerwig as they both gave excellent and very real performances. Greenberg is a good character study but it became quite tiresome towards the end when I realised nothing was really happening.
It's long winded and everything is left unresolved due to an abrupt ending. I liked it for the most part but ultimately I feel like it had the potential to do a lot more. It's a film I will probably forget about quickly.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle 2017
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is so corny and the humour feels forced. The jungle setting is bland/uninteresting. There wasn't much excitement and I never felt like the characters were under any serious threat.
I think it jumps in to the main part of the film a bit too quickly also, giving the main characters some more time to build as their real selves might have been better.
I think I chuckled once or twice overall but it's just one…

Blade Runner 1982
*The Final Cut*
The first time I watched this I couldn't even get through it. The visuals are amazing yes but the story is unengaging for the most part. The first hour was still slow and kinda boring but I stuck with it this time and the final act was actually really good. I appreciate it a lot more now but I'm still not blown away by it.
