  • Nativity!

It's enjoyable and pretty funny if you're in the right mood. The kids were good and I like that it was improvised. It does start to drag towards the end though and gets a bit ridiculous. Decent for what it is but I wouldn't rush to watch the sequels.

  • Brooklyn

A beautifully shot film with an excellent performance from Saoirse Ronan. It kept me interested but didn't really connect on an emotional level or leave any lasting impression. Worth a watch though.

  • Sorry to Bother You

    Sorry to Bother You

Love the style and originality from this film. The performances are great and it has some really memorable scenes too. It's certainly different and I was really in to it for a long time, but the final 30 minutes or so got a little bit too crazy for it's own good.

  • The Predator

    The Predator

It's like Venom where I can see why a lot of people don't like it but I was able to switch off and just enjoy it for what it is. Of course when it was first released we were hoping for something great so it's a shame we didn't get that.

The film gets off to a rocky start, there's too much different shit going on and it takes quite a while to settle down as it jumps from one…

  • Slaughterhouse Rulez

    Slaughterhouse Rulez

Takes a bit long to get going and then drags a bit towards the end as well. It was lacking in real laughs but the cast were mostly ok so it was good harmless fun.

  • Mars Attacks!

    Mars Attacks!

The build up of this film is pretty bland, the cast is full of stars but none of the characters are particularly memorable. The action scenes are fun but repetitive. It's decent but never reaches anything great, worth a watch for sure but not one to revisit.

  • Set It Up

    Set It Up

Pretty standard stuff, not the most convincing of stories and only a few laughs to be had but the charm of Zoey Deutch's character made this one reasonably enjoyable.

  • The Package

    The Package

Nothing special but a decent comedy to pass time. It is slightly repetitive but is amusing throughout with some solid laughs along the way. The cast were all fine and had good chemistry, Geraldine Viswanathan was probably the standout character.

It's silly and not one to highly recommend or revisit but for a quick and easy laugh it does the trick.

  • The Devil Wears Prada

    The Devil Wears Prada

Not the most eventful of films but it was an easy watch. It's full of unlikable characters, even Anne Hathaway makes some questionable decisions but she still had enough charm to keep me watching.

  • Howard the Duck

    Howard the Duck

If you like 80s films in general then you will probably get some enjoyment and nostalgic feeling out of this. Lea Thompson is so charming and Howard is a likable and funny character. It's a ridiculous friendship but the chemistry is great. Although they nearly go all Shape of Water at one point.

The first hour of this film is really enjoyable but it really could have done with being 20 minutes shorter. When the scientist starts going crazy and the characters get separated it becomes bogged down. The monster at the end looks absolutely terrible as well.

  • Deadpool 2

    Deadpool 2

Liked it but not as much as the first film. It's basically the same film with all the cool stuff still going on but towards the end it becomes a bit of a slog and the jokes are so repetitive.

  • Extinction

Slow start which looks like it will be confusing for the sake of it, but in the end it's all wrapped up pretty nicely.
