Hilarious. Great soundtrack. Really captures the Christmas season well. Absolute classic.

  • Species

    “I enjoyed that immensely” 😂

  • Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey

    Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey

I really wasn’t that in to the first film when I watched it a few years ago but since the 3rd one is like the only new thing currently on at cinemas I thought I best check this one out.

How much fun it was was a most excellent surprise. I loved the characters and their evil robot selves being sent back to kill added something different. It had me laughing on many occasions.

A sequel that’s better than the original, woah dude *guitar noise*

  • Night of the Creeps

    Night of the Creeps

The comedy lands most of the time, the effects are cheesy and over the top. The score is good and a the main characters are a likeable bunch. The story comes together really well from two different time zones with Tom Atkins character as the connecting point. Really enjoyable overall.

  • Hotel Mumbai

    Hotel Mumbai

Brutal, intense & very tough to watch at times due to it being true. Great cast and all round a highly recommended film.

  • The Exorcist

*Watched the Extended Director’s Cut edition*

  • Leave No Trace

    Leave No Trace

Beautifully shot film which was captivating from start to finish. It’s not the most eventful but excellent performances from Ben Foster & Thomasin McKenzie gives the film quite an emotional punch.

  • Every Which Way but Loose

Happy 90th Birthday to a cinematic legend, Clint Eastwood.

  • Jumanji

Childhood classic. Some parts are a bit ropey now but it’s actually quite tense, surprised it didn’t traumatise me as kid. Man I miss Robin Williams.

  • The Grand Budapest Hotel

    The Grand Budapest Hotel

Another Wes Anderson film that I couldn’t get through at first. But today I tried again and really liked it, same happened with Moonrise Kingdom.

  • Hard Target

    Hard Target

First half of this film is quite dull, I’ve actually tried before and turned it off after about 40 minutes. Massive mistake.

Once it gets in to explaining the story and the action then starts it is non stop and everything I wanted. So loud that even with headphones in the neighbours will still hear it.
