  • Enchanted

    Amy Adams.

    That's it. That's the review.

  • Die Hard

    Die Hard

    Merry Christmas.

  • Nativity!

It's enjoyable and pretty funny if you're in the right mood. The kids were good and I like that it was improvised. It does start to drag towards the end though and gets a bit ridiculous. Decent for what it is but I wouldn't rush to watch the sequels.

  • A Christmas Horror Story

    A Christmas Horror Story

Flicking between different stories rather than just telling one at a time and then moving on. None of it even linked together at the end. A mess.

  • Johnny English Strikes Again

    Johnny English Strikes Again

I can't remember much about the previous two films but this was good fun despite being very predictable. Rowan Atkinson was on top form, the dance scene had me in stitches and the VR scene was great too.

  • The Strangers: Prey at Night

    The Strangers: Prey at Night

I thought Kinsey was a cool character but apart from that the film falls flat in pretty much every aspect. Much like the first one, I'm just not a fan unfortunately. The pool scene was excellently done though.

  • Brooklyn

A beautifully shot film with an excellent performance from Saoirse Ronan. It kept me interested but didn't really connect on an emotional level or leave any lasting impression. Worth a watch though.

  • The Emperor's New Groove

    The Emperor's New Groove

Apparently I watched this on it's 18th anniversary. Pretty cool coincidence.

  • Bone Tomahawk

    Bone Tomahawk

The sound of heavy boot footsteps and guns being cocked was so crisp and constant that I felt like I was actually on a brutal adventure with Kurt and the gang. Things got ugly so it's a good job Chicory was there to lighten the mood when needed.

  • A Simple Favor

    A Simple Favor

Anna Kendrick & Blake Lively are superb here. It's dramatic, suspenseful, full of twists and also funny in places too. One of my favourites of the year for sure.

  • Sorry to Bother You

    Sorry to Bother You

Love the style and originality from this film. The performances are great and it has some really memorable scenes too. It's certainly different and I was really in to it for a long time, but the final 30 minutes or so got a little bit too crazy for it's own good.

  • How the Grinch Stole Christmas

    How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Love the set and character design for this film. The whole cast is good with Jim Carrey being crazy at the centre. Good fun all round.
