“Offered a plea deal by the FBI, William O'Neal infiltrates the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party to gather intelligence on Chairman Fred Hampton.”

I’ve seen this film rake in many awards and get rave reviews from critics and people on Letterboxd including my followers. This is such a fantastic film but yet it’s powerful and emotional. Also this film hits you and sticks with you for many reasons. It’s a film that I’ve been meaning to see but never got around to seeing it at the cinema. Watching it on Now Tv: Sky Cinema is a brilliant experience.

The cast are outstanding which includes Daniel Kaluuya (who deserves his supporting actor award at the Oscars), Lakeith Stanfield, Jesse Plemons, Dominique Fishback, Ashton Sanders,, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Lil Rel Howery, Algee Smith, Dominique Thorne & Martin Sheen. Daniel Kaluuya is a fantastic actor who’s been in some brilliant films such as Get Out and Black Panther. He’s an incredible actor who has a bright future.

Just like BlacKkKlansman which is another film based on true events this film hits you. Didn’t expect the last 30 minutes to go as it did. The montages at the end are good and gives more detail to the film.

This is a film that has to be seen and it’s one of my favourites from this year!
