Charlie Ours’s review published on Letterboxd:
Hopefully one day this movie gets a good home video release. It’s really good but won’t fit into today’s world. There’s these soilders who are POWs in a Korean prison and they are being brainwashed to except communist of course it being the 50’s it’s like getting the men to accept cutting their dicks off I mean they are totally against it and rather starve. Now all the things the communist say are just normal things that the left say today. It’s a good reminder of how far we strayed. Aside from that the movie has lovable characters, a nice love story, plenty of twists, and E.G. Marshall. There’s action and suspense thrown in for good measure. There’s just not enough Korean War films, it was a fascinating war. No one talks much about it.
