Aidan Fealy’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is one of those films that is so cohesive from department to department, that the hours this team spent simply for thoroughness’ sake are visible in every frame. Cinematography complements sound design
which complements the pace
which complements the tone
which complements the wardrobe
which complements the performances
which complements the set design
which complements the story and so on, and so on.
Astounded by the effort displayed here, and I’d bet good money this film will age excellently. What a body of work Cuarón has.
