ESL education major with a minor in film studies. i have seen adam sandler's eight crazy nights over 20 times.
this is less of a review and more of a....theater report. if that's a thing. i couldn't really say anything more about this special that hasn't already been said. however, i'm really glad i was able to see it in theaters so i want to write down some things about my experience.
-the audience skewed fairly young. quite a few teenagers and college aged kids (like me lol). i did see some parents come with their kids. no elderly people…
this movie is 20 now. i hadn’t rewatched it since high school. for better or for worse, this is probably the movie from my adolescence that made me into the young adult i am now. i spent so much of my teenage years wishing i could just ride away on a bus. other times i was terrified i was the one who would be forever waiting for the bus that never came. i’m not sure where i’m at now. i guess i’m not thinking about the bus anymore.
