I love the style of Robert Eggers. He breaks the rule of thirds and puts his characters in the middle of the screen like they are portraits in a painting. Although the story didn’t seem entirely fresh to me, I was in awe with the visual and sound design. I really enjoyed how the story was executed with this very unique setting and environment that I really haven’t seen many films take place in.
