Spooky Entry #56
Even after rewatches, the final fifty minutes of this film remain relentlessly tense, anxiety inducing, stressful and leaves you just really pondering humanity.
Jennifer Lawrence is, obviously, a ginormous stand out in this epic cinematic masterpiece from Aronofsky, and the displayed biblical allegory told remains disturbing, fascinating and traumatizing.
I still vividly remember my first viewing of this film, I can say without a doubt this is THE movie that has rattled me and profoundly unsettled and upset me the most.
But in the best and most beautifully tragic kind of way.
