Christopher Nolan and Pete Docter are moving In the opposite direction. The subtleties of cinematic devices are lost on both but one in a way that sheds cinematic contrivances and the other compounds them.

Anne got the first 4 Transformers movie to share with the kids. Audrey (12) was not interested so she went to the neighbor’s house but Bryce (9) is enthralled.

I am Sam Esmail’s Fight Club fan fiction that is Mr. Robot.

In 2000 I wrote a short story sequel to Fight Club called “I am Robert Paulson” about how the narrator tried to stop what he had started and couldn’t. This is not to diminish Sam’s achievement — I loved this show.
