Tomadorf’s review published on Letterboxd:
Sam Raimi is back.
An absolute blast despite the typical MCU problems. Weird pacing at times and the jokes don’t typically land, but Raimi’s direction is full on display. From his classic zoom-ins and horror-esque elements, this feels like his movie, full of silver age wackiness and silly magic. The action is dynamic and on par with Shang-Chi as the best in the franchise. The ‘dreaded’ cameos don’t outstay their welcome and fit into the story quite well. Overall, a fun time with an incredibly unique sense of style from other superhero flicks.
