My friend compared this to Taxi Driver and now it will forever live in my head as “the Taxi Driver Christmas Special”! One of those beautiful movies like Martin or Don’t Go In The House where each scene feels just enough off to create a cumulative surreal effect and sense of oppressive off putting mood, and on top of this I start to feel bad for Fiona Apple’s dad
