I think this movie asks a lot from its audience in terms of prerequisite context, and I also think that the movie didn’t quite do enough to make me really care about Strange and (especially) America as characters. That being said, in terms of pure enjoyment of Raimi’s style of filmmaking, this is probably the most fun I’ve had with an MCU thing. Scarlet Witch as a villain was fantastic and I greatly enjoyed everything with her onscreen.
