You can forget how utterly fantastic this is from the first scene to the last. Pacino’s performance is probably the highlight - the transformation of a war hero to a cold hearted villain, and he sells it perfectly. Favorite moments in this viewing - Vito sobbing at the news it was Michael who killed Solazzo, Sonny throwing a trash can on Carlo. Image I can’t get out of my head - Fredo banging cocktail waitresses two at a time. Spin-off idea: how they get the horse head into Woltz’s bed. Let’s have this made into a Rogue One style prequel.
