Wow! What an amazing...ly bad movie. My decision to rewatch the Star Wars movies, beginning with episode one was not my best ideas.
Starting with the good things, Episode one has a pretty good score and some nice action sequences. That's literally it...
Now I'll come to the countless negative aspects Episode one has to offer.
The cinematography is really mediocre, maybe I would even call it bad at times, but I don't want to be that harsh right now. That'll come in a few seconds.
The characters aren't well written, just as the dialogues are. Those damn dialogues... Some of the worst I've ever listened to, really. Often they are way too childish, too easy, too pseudo comedic.
That's where it leads to the next point.
The first half of the movie is more of an really bad comedy than anything else, it's as I mentioned childish, but not even in a charming way, but just in an annoying.
As I speak of annoying. Jar Jar.
And that CGI... It's so amazingly bad... I can't find words. Nearly every CGI-Creature looks massively out of place... It's just bad.
Urgh.
Bad movie, really bad movie.
