Missing 1982
I cannot tell if this movie is going for classical tragedy, or if it is trying to be sincerely soulful. The screenplay frequently trips over itself to make sure we understand an echo, or a character beat, or some irony. I would just read this as drama, but with the references to christian science and faith, it seems there's some spiritual or transcendental aspect. But then again, it is so dry that this notion seems ridiculous.

After this, I no longer wish to hear The Irishman referred to as an old man movie by anyone.
