imagine finding yourself gazing at a bonfire? just zoning in and out and observing the flame converting every single second. you are going through the heat, the spark, the wrath, and the stress. the point is that it's really a stunningly mesmeric thing. that's how feel about watching the phenomenal period romance drama Portrait of a Lady on Fire. however, the difference between a bonfire and myself (or any human) is that it made me breathe hard at the of the film and brought up tears down my face inside and outside in so many ways.
