Tiago Cardoso’s review published on Letterboxd:
Who’s checking in?
Questions both literal and existential. Exploring four people who are sort of archetypes of what they represent in an oppressive environment becoming a morality tale. Bad Times at the El Royale seems complicated but at its core it's really just a story about people. A love letter to the crime thriller.
PS: a lot of The Hateful Eight (2015) vibes.
