In the fall of 2018 I went to a screening of 1978's Halloween at one of my favorite theaters in Atlanta that really made me fall in love of the art of film. At that showing of it I really felt this authentic atmosphere that John Carpenter captured in Haddonfield. The fall colors, the teenagers running around, and the slight emptiness of surrounding the setting. I really felt that real world sense of rural authentic America that was captured in…

Rewatching the batman again really cemented it as one of the best 2022 movies. The almost 3 hour runtime is not an issue. It is a blessing. The world that's built and it's characters deserve to be relished in. Everything in it feels intentional and is so visually appealing.

Seeing it in a dinky rural movie theater with an oddly colored projection and bad seats 8 months ago and now seeing it 7 feet away on 65 inch OLED display really makes the batman feel more visually appealing.

This movie is wild, all over the place, silly, and just a good ole time. Excited to see more.

There's something about 2000s Spielberg that just looks ugly. I was confused for a good bit of this but didn't hate this like AI.

Felt like movie you'd see at the dollar general with some cocomelon looking animation. The plot is a riff on Monsters Inc. This just wasn't it.

It's good but why does every movie nowadys feel like it has to be over 2 hours long? This would've been great with a 97 minute or 101 minute runtime. Just felt like a few scenes could've been trimmed.

The beginning of this is so tight and really keep you invested in Barry's accusation. Yet, the pacing really slows down towards the middle. Saboteur is a fun time with witty dialogue and a terrific plot.
