  • Scream

    Scream

    ★★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

"Did you really call the police?"..."You bet your sorry ass I did!"

    ...

"My mom and dad are gonna be so mad at me!"

This movie rules. The whole third act is at a party. Most of the best lines are improvised and its humor works surprisingly well in a slasher film with themes about maternal abandonment and trauma. Give Shaggy an Oscar.

  • The Social Dilemma

    The Social Dilemma

    ★★★★

Don't delete all your social media. Don't ever think that if you delete it, it will go away. We, as a society, do this more often than you think... Just cover it up, don't mention it anymore, sweep the problem under the rug until the same issue inevitably comes back.

We need to live with it. Like someone said in this movie "you can't put the glue back in the tube..", Pandora's Box has been opened. You'd be a fool…

  • Inception

    Inception

    ★★★★

This movie is really dumb and really smart at the same time...

  • Knives Out

    Knives Out

    ★★★★

    Step on it, Baby driver!

  • Calendar

    Calendar

    ★★★★

It hurts me to watch this movie. Atom. Please stop.

  • Men in Black

    Men in Black

    ★★★★

Edwards: Why the big secret? People are smart. They can handle it.
Kay: A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow.

This movie still holds up SO well! It's amazing.. Also, it…

  • Vice

    Vice

    ★★★★

Great performances, style and story... I just can't believe that Cheney stopped politics for his daughter and decided to dedicate his live to breeding dogs and donating money. Such a sweet ending...

... The movie was really short..., though. Weird. 🤔

  • The Clovehitch Killer

    The Clovehitch Killer

    ★★★★

Meticulously directed with great acting, writing and control of the story. Everything feels in place and where it should be. The sound is one of the best parts of the movie and I hope Hollywood (or whoever) adopts it because it feels so nice to see action where someone gets hit and you don't hear ''KABOOM'' or ''PLOW'', but just a quiet thud. It's more quiet, more realistic and therefore more suspenseful/scary.

  • Eighth Grade

    Eighth Grade

    ★★★★

    Bo Burnham: Gucci 👌🏻👌🏻
    Elsie Fisher: Gucci 👌🏻👌🏻
    Daddy Josh Hamilton: Gucci 👌🏻👌🏻

  • The World's End

    The World's End

    ★★★★

    ''Andy, what's happening?''

''Gary thinks we should keep up with the crawl because they know what they're doing, but they don't know that we know what they're doing, and basically, no one else has a better idea so, fuck it...''

The psychical comedy in this film is great! Underrated movie!

  • Shaun of the Dead

    Shaun of the Dead

    ★★★★

This is one of the best scripts I've ever seen.

  • The Big Lebowski

    The Big Lebowski

    ★★★★

"I think I'm gonna give The Big Lebowksi 3.5*"

"yeah, well, you know, that's just like, uh, your opinion, man."

"thomaruc, my friend, you are entering a world of pain."

    "Walter..."

"You mark this movie a 3.5, and you're entering a world of pain.."

"what is he marking a 3.5, Walter?"

    "Shut the fuck up, Donny."

    "Mark it 5*...*cocks gun*"

    "Walter, man, take it easy.."

    "Am I wrong?

    "No, you're not wrong, man."

    "Am I wrong??"

    "No, you're not wrong…
