  • Nomadland

It's great how everyone will think that this outgoing, kinda quirky, and sort of awkward person "Fern" is a great character that Frances McDormand crawled into, but we all know that she's literally just playing herself...

"I feel as if I'm... I feel as if I'm losing all my leaves (...)

the branches, the wind and the rain..."

  • Requiem for a Dream

    Requiem for a Dream

It's fun noticing all the different addictions everyone has who interact with the 4 main protagonists in the movie, such as gambling, alcoholism, working out, sex and even sunbathing? I guess. And yet we, as a people, pick and choose which one we condemn the most, yet do not provide enough help for these ones in the slightest, which is made clear by how poor medical institutions treat their patients and how blatantly uncaring and even abusive they are of…

"I am he as you are he as you are me
    And we are all together
See how they run like pigs from a gun
    See how they fly
    I'm crying...."

    No, me neither..

  • Avengers: Infinity War

    Avengers: Infinity War

It's kind of weird that I thought this was a 3.5*, then changed it to 4* and now it's a 4.5*.

Usually with Marvel movies it's the opposite, where you like it at first because of the formulaic story and relatable characters but afterwards feel like it's forgettable or without any stakes..

This movie is definitely not one of those two things.

  • Glass

Somehow this meta, pulpy, almost indie-like finale of the trilogy made me more emotional than any other film I've seen in a while in a way only M. Night seems to be able to pull off...

  • Split

James McAvoy is still my dad!

  • The Favourite
