Now this film would be a streaming service show or film, like an Altered Carbon.

I haven't seen a Neilll Blomkamp film before, but I know he did Chappie and District 9. So this seems very up his wheel house.

It's an interesting premise and it goes for the most predictable but it can do.

The score took a few notes from Hanz Zimmer's Inception score, then mixed it with a bit of blade runner.

    The dystopia is pretty…

Now things get interesting...cause now the Apes have AK-47s.

I thought Rise felt too foundational. So this goes off on its own thing in the post apocalyptic world which is fantastic! Also, who doesn't love a bit of Ape politics?

It helps that we have a better director in Matt Reeves helming the film. We love to see it. The CGI is much better to.

Gunn really did his thing in this one, and that's why it's so great. It's his vision throughout. Like everything is very goopy as well.

A HUGE Animal protection theme throughout. The body horror as well was very apparent and quite gross...but in a good way...but still gross.

Yes it's very sappy and emotional...you love to see it. Some scenes could have been shorter and others did feel very manipulative.…

This has like so many nit picks for me, it's the least perfect of the original trilogy...and yet...it is still AWESOME, even if it tried not to be.

Mark Hamill is the absolute stand out in this. His opening scene...so badass. And his performances is just 🥶🥶🥶. This is my favorite Jedi, this version of Luke. It's so funny how during the whole ewok episode he gets bored with there bs and just leaves. Me too Luke, me…
