Great film that I'm sure opened some eyes in its time. A carefully intricate plot that kept me guessing, and some solid performances by McMurray and Stanwyck (with Stanwyck being the best of both). However, I was more impressed with Edward G. Robinson's supporting performance, which was great. Overall, some understandably dated stuff in the dialogue and whatnot, but still a very engaging, entertaining, and in the end, dark film. Loved it.
