Sean’s review published on Letterboxd:
The ultimate horror sequel, in my mind. Bruce Campbell is a madman, embodying insanity at the top of his game. Raimi and company put together what I consider the most original and intriguing evil mythology in film, and in this follow up, it's fleshed out and given form in larger, more bombastic fashion.
The practical effects are breathtaking, the pacing is breakneck, and the tone dances beautifully between horrific and uncannily funny; this is a 250 proof shot of concentrated horror madness, and it's a personal favorite, just as it is for many others.
