i know i say this a lot, but this movie needed to be at least 20% more gay - cate and sandy should've kissed.
it's not perfect, but it's a breezy, fun, charming little bop of a movie. a lot of that is based on the chemistry and energy of the cast alone, they're a lot of fun. plus the costuming and fashions are excellent throughout - can we talk about rihanna in that red dress?! overall i enjoyed the heist, robbing the met gala was a nice alternative to robbing another casino... it just falls short of the others because the direction isn't as strong as soderbergh's.
the audacity it takes to cast all of these amazing women in a movie, and then to just drop james fucking corden into it in the last half hour?! gross, the epitome of white male privelege, stop giving him jobs. if they needed to cast someone as a quirky british insurance investigator in this movie it should've been tilda swinton, duh.
