    I watched Cure for the first time five years ago. It left me kind of flummoxed. I wasn't sure what to make of it, the ending seeming to raise more questions than answers. I've tried to become more comfortable with ending ambiguity in recent years. Particularly from non-American storytelling traditions where the perspectives on what a story is doing may not be what I would expect.

    It's been a long time since I've watched Halloween. I would get into why, but it's a boring story. Suffice to say, I didn't have access. And now I do. Wasn't sure how Halloween would hold up.
