Hello, I write about movies sometimes.
Don’t forget to select your favorite films!
"Love's arms beckon
With their naked delights
And Eden's promise of ecstasies.
Why do I remember the scars,
Dream of old transgressions..
And why do I sleep with fear?"

Rereading the novel and revisiting this entry; totally understand other's aversion to this. It's unforgivable dense, sometimes emotionally cold, and maybe unsatisfying, however I find it to be endearing, rich, cathartic and spectacular. Despite my frustrations, this still rocks so incredibly hard.
"Opportunity is always dangling right in front of you"
I'm sure everyone looks back and thinks about the 'what-ifs' - I do all the time, but eventhough it is an incredibly human thing to do, I feel there's a life lesson in realizing why things were what they were and why things are the way they are now. The Tatami Galaxy is tremendous at explaining all these ideas, as well as showcasing psycologial examinations about identity, sexual frustration, love, lust,…
"The light is mine!"
Absolute fucking madhouse. This film is thundering into your head and just bringing so many different emotions out of you. One moment your laughing your ass off to Dafoe and Pattinson's bickering, but then the next moment the film shakes your soul out of you. I've never seen a film so manic. Devilishly masterful.
