Love Jim Jarmusch, but yikes... his debut film was not very good. I can forgive Permanent Vacation for being subpar from a technical aspect, since it was a student film, however, I find it incredibly difficult to believe that there was nobody else who could have done a better job as the lead actor. Chris Parker was terrible!
