Letterboxd — Your life in film

Bottoms is Great. 
My only issue with it is that at some points it got too metaphorical and almost turned into a parody but it still managed to discuss the differences between men and women and how society perceives them in an efficient way while also maintaining a very cool  plot

Killers of the Flower Moon is a bold and extremely gripping experience 

At 80 years old and with a career that spans over 7 different decades Martin Scorsese still manages to be innovative and reinvent himself

Telling the story of an entire country through a game show is a brilliant idea & structure that can only be executed by a mad genius like danny boyle

Such a deeply personal & beautiful film

This film made me think about all the "past lives" and relationships I've had over the years and got me wondering what would have happened if these relationships remained intact

It took me 7 years to watch this masterpiece and I will never forgive myself for that

Such a beautifully shot and well acted film

It felt a bit messy at times but it still had so much heart and emotion behind it that managed to keep me hooked throughout the whole film

To some people this film might be a bit hollow but for me it was incredibly dense

The issues that this film addressed and the subjects it tried to tackle are extremely interesting and haven't been discussed enough in other war films

-The mental toll that war has on soldiers 
-The hunger and desperation that they feel in the battlefield 
-The feeling of being distant from the life that they left back home and the fear of it slipping away from them

You spend so much time being a "Jarhead" that you can't be anything else, you can't go back to a regular life 

A Masterpiece in writing by Tarantino 

It amazes me how Tarantino managed to create something so big while working with such a small budget

An exceptional piece of storytelling by Christopher Nolan

Not as complicated as most of his previous work yet still just as dense and cinematically rich

All Quiet on the Western Front seems like a light comedy compared to this

This film had Jojo's childish spirit, it was fun and quirky at times and it was also devastating at times

Taika watiti is the only director that ever made me go from laughing to instantly crying my eyes out

We don't deserve prime Daniel Day Lewis he was simply too damn good
