Inherently compelling because Bourdain is a singular personality but falters when it actually begins to explore his death. Not only do they fail to handle the Asia Argento stuff responsibly, they also fail to fully explore the allegation they present (that she’s in at least some way responsible for his suicide). The lack of due diligence and fear of libel makes the documentary fizzle out and leave a bad taste in my mouth.
Overall while there’s a lot of cool…
