Yesterday my wife asked me if we were going to see Michael Mann in person and when I said yes she said Wow my lullaby man in the flesh, referring to the fact that she tends to fall asleep during his movies so I will now always think of him as The Lullaby Man.
Perfect movie. They surprised us by showing Mann’s personal 70mm print. The scene when Graham puts it all together is fucking electric. The best.
