Wow, that was bright. And foxy. Very, very foxy.
Roald Dahl wrote Fantastic Mr. Fox at a sad time in his life having recently lost one of his five children to measles and another suffer from water on the brain following a car accident. It prompted him to write a tale of a father protecting his family.
I reckon Wes Anderson did the book a real service by bringing it to a new audience in a fun and endearing way, nearly 40 years after it was penned by Dahl.
