Day Twenty Eight of 100 Horrors of Halloween: Favourite Freddy
An absolute blast that takes the franchise in a new direction. Freddy gets funnier, the mythology deepens and Nancy returns.
The fan favourite and I can see why. It's extremely 80s and in hindsight, so many things owe a lot to this film.
The characters are very lovable and you root for them. As entertaining as Freddy is, you want the Dream Warriors to survive.
Also contains a bonafide slapping banger. Awesome!
