    Two Distant Strangers

Oof, very cringe. Extremely over-the-top with its messaging. Mediocre acting and writing throughout. The reveal at the end is dumb. The message it's going for is fine but it's not thoughtful enough to justify me watching this guy die over and over. Doesn't really sit well with me.

  • Prisoners of the Ghostland

    Prisoners of the Ghostland

Prisoners of the Ghostland has its head so far up its ass with utter nonsense world building that it forgets to be fun or enjoyable until the last 15 minutes. Technical elements are impressive but tonally it’s an absolutely mess. And no the fight choreography is not good what were you watching.

  • French Exit

    French Exit

There was nothing worth caring about in any of these people or in the relationships they had with each other. And that's the bare minimum of what I ask for in a drama.

  • Sylvie's Love

    Sylvie's Love

A boring and one-dimensional romance that relies entirely on nostalgia for boring one-dimensional romance films from the 50’s. Pure aesthetic and cheese. Got nothing out of this one. It’s literally just mimicry.

  • Falling

    Falling

Great way to start my first Sundance ever.

Essentially the Angry Asshole Bigot Grandpa: The Movie. Feels like Viggo liked this trope and just thought of ways to play it out over and over. Writing, direction, and surprisingly the performances are bland. Some funny, charming moments redeem moments but boy it didn’t know when to end.
