Watched this for Blank Check prep and dig it way more than I had expected to, though I did go in with pretty low expectations. The coda/denouement was unnecessary and a little self-indulgent, but it was a good movie star movie where movie stars do movie star shit, which doesn't happen as often as it used to. It's over-the-top and melodramatic, but that's Bobby Z for you. It was hilarious hearing Medicine Hat being brought up so earnestly throughout.

Hang 'em High 1968
Undoubtedly an American attempt to cash in on the Leone/Eastwood movies by adopting much of the same visual style, grey morality, and more shocking violence. It never quite reaches the same heights as Leone, possibly because of the more stringent American film rating system, but this cable classic is still a solid Western. You just can't argue with Clint in a hat on a horse.

Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation 1992
Even as a kid, I was aware of how many jokes and references were packed into this movie that were going over my head. Despite that, I still laughed my ass off. I returned to it a couple of years ago, and was delighted with some of the stuff I had missed. This is a cartoon that really does work for all ages. There's no real plot, and it's very episodic in nature, but they bounce around between the characters enough to keep it interesting and every little sketch is an absolute banger. Fantastic movie.
