“I'm Old Enough To Know When Life Is Coming At Me With Its Pants Down."

This movie has to be the best modern Christmas Horror. I have really strong memories with this one too. I remember when this came out in the theaters and I was stoked to see it, especially with a close friend at the time (we were sophomores in HS I think). Our city was freezing and everyone was staying home so no one was out and…

    Interview with the Vampire

“No one could resist me, not even you, Louis.”
    “I tried.”
“And the more you tried, the more I wanted you.”

One of the best vampire movies ever made and I won’t be accepting criticism. As great as the film is, it’s still not anywhere close to the book.
I’m always puzzled how Pitt and Cruise make this work but it oddly does. Also as my mom notes “It’s Tom Cruise playing a vampire that’s also Tom Cruise”. 😂

“Kelly, you're a maverick. We don't have room for mavericks!” -Charley

A good old nature horror to cleanse my recent trail of lesser than movies.
If you’re not prepping to watch Cocaine Bear hitting theaters next month what are you even doing?!
This would work as a great double feature with ‘Day of the Animals’.

"Welcome to my parlour, said the spider to the fly."

It wasn’t my intention to have Joe Spinell night, but hey I’m not complaining at all!
Rewatched Maniac with my family earlier and went to settle in for the night and decided to throw this random one on since it’s at the bottom of my Tubi watchlist.
In one of Spinell’s lesser talked about roles he continue to own the role of a deranged character. In fact he’s basically playing Frank Zito from Maniac except this time he owns a morgue!

“Life’s a joke, then you croak.”

Imagine if you took Nightmare on Elm Street, The Exorcist, Carrie, and a handful of special effects from any random 80s horror film, you’ll have this delicious sandwich of entertainment.
So much fun and a whole star better than the first one!

    A Very Nutty Christmas

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

    Thoughts while watching this

-her ex just broke up with her after casually implying he got busy with another woman...instead of just breaking up with her? WHAT A DICK
-main protag chugging back eggnog out of a glass measuring cup in the storage room is a complete MOOD
-her Christmas tree is the second rattiest one I’ve every seen, not counting Charlie Browns
-It’s really really weird to have a crush on a nutcracker as a child (crackersexual?)
    -nutcracker dude…
