Letterboxd — Your life in film

It’s hard to watch, but impossible to look away as the characters’ transformation kept you glued to the screen.

Definitely left a mark in my head and will stay there for a while, the same as what Raw did to me in 2017.

What a spectacle to see on a big screen.

Not a fan nor have I read the book, but I’m totally on board now with the whole world they created.

Hopefully Denis Villeneuve can make his desired trilogy. 🤞

This is one hell of a masterpiece of sophisticated storytelling.

Is it just me or no one is actually talking about this film? It doesn’t get the attention it deserves.

You ever find yourself in a hypnotic state? Just staring at something beautiful, and experiencing how it makes you feel? Anger, tension, sadness, happiness. That’s just the tip of the iceberg in term of describing Portrait of a Lady on Fire.

To watch this movie is like being punched in the face. It’s the kind of movie which can’t leave indefferent. It is impossible to come out of this movie unharmed.

Wow, what a movie.

I think Stoker is qualified to be called a masterpiece.

Fantastic filmmaking! Highly stylistic, amazing performances, unique, but also mysterious. Every detail of this polished thriller has been expertly conceived. The words, camera movements, the actors posture, every tiny detail has its own purpose.

The movie builds up the plot and the suspense like a poet or a musical symphony. Little by little, every nod, word, step, brings us to the climax, to the end, the answer to the questions and the harsh reality. 

This is definitely going to my favorites.

This is my 6th time. Can never get enough of it.

Such an amazing story about faith and miracles of Desmond Doss, translated into movie screen excellently by Mel Gibson. One of my all-time favorite.

I didn’t see that coming at all. 
What an AMAZING movie!

It’s best for you not to know anything before watching, because I didn’t either. It’s a ONE-CUT ZOMBIE MOVIE and that’s it. 

You might get confused in the beginning, but make sure to watch the whole thing! This one guarantees an awesome ride and is a MUST WATCH!

Psycho was not only Hitchcock’s biggest success, but was a phenomenon in its own right. Everything has been said about this movie; I can’t add anything else. 

Without a doubt one of the most influential movie of all time. Especially on the genres of horror and suspense/thriller. Timeless classic.

The moment I realize what is actually happening in this movie.

It really is that good. Try to put the puzzle pieces by yourself and don’t read any explanations on the internet. Be patient, pay attention. One of the best movie of 2018.
