Quiet-quiet-BANG! formula is so lame and not scary.
Especially if it’s made just only to scare the audience.
No tension or nothing to move the story forward whatsoever.
Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson save this movie from being an utter trash.
What a let down, but honestly, it was expected when we found out that James Wan is not directing this one.
100 Movies Challenge (1st Apr - 30th Jun)
This movie starts with so much promise, but fails to deliver at every aspects.
There’s no plot, things happen for no reason, with no motivation or explanation. Stupid choices constantly made - both in front and behind the camera.
Some stylistic visual choices were cool. But that’s it.
Such a waste of time.
Well, this movie is very disappointing.
It’s just so boring and cliched. They create the character of Captain Marvel as a cocky and sometimes a robotic being. Even Brie Larson's acting seems so wooden and emotionless.
I was worried from the very beginning because it started off pretty badly. When she fought her trainer, the choreography was awful. Her first rescue mission, they were miserable. Very dark and unclear.
The theme also keeps on switching for the entire movie. Between…
10 Things I Hate About ‘The Darkest Minds’ :
1. Cliched, boring and predictable
2. Dialogues were dry and cheesy
3. Awfully forced romance
4. The guy who played Liam; how did he get the job?
5. A lot of set-ups with weak pay-off
6. If this movie tried to be funny; it failed
7. Always telling, never showing
8. Completely rushed. No scenes stands out because they were so brief
9. Exclude all the interesting parts yet…
While Sinister 2 is still quite well sinister, it certainly lacks any of the originality and constant vibe of fear that made its original such a memorable and competent horror film that found both success at the box office and on home release.
And also, what have they done to the ‘Boogeyman’ character? He was such an interesting horror villain in the first movie, with all the mystery and questions surrounding him. He took the centre stage. But in this…
Focus is a terrible movie which baits the audience with it's good trailer and impressive cast.
There were plenty of fillers and sub-plots in the movie, some of them were impressive and entertaining to watch, but it doesn't contribute anything to the plot.
Will Smith and Margot Robbie did their best but this kind of movie is just not their level. Such a waste of talent.
