    100 Movies Challenge (1st Apr - 30th Jun)
    #21

This movie starts with so much promise, but fails to deliver at every aspects.

There’s no plot, things happen for no reason, with no motivation or explanation. Stupid choices constantly made - both in front and behind the camera.

    1. Cliched, boring and predictable
    2. Dialogues were dry and cheesy
    3. Awfully forced romance

    5. A lot of set-ups with weak pay-off
    6. If this movie tried to be funny; it failed
    7. Always telling, never showing
    8. Completely rushed. No scenes stands out because they were so brief
    9. Exclude all the interesting parts yet…

    Sinister 2

    ★½

While Sinister 2 is still quite well… sinister, it certainly lacks any of the originality and constant vibe of fear that made its original such a memorable and competent horror film that found both success at the box office and on home release.

And also, what have they done to the ‘Boogeyman’ character? He was such an interesting horror villain in the first movie, with all the mystery and questions surrounding him. He took the centre stage. But in this…
