  • Cold War

    Cold War

    ★★★★½

Great movie, very efficient in delivering the most content with minimalist means. Everything is perfect: top acting, top direcing, fabulous photography, incredible music and the writing too.

  • BlacKkKlansman

    BlacKkKlansman

    ★★★★½

This film is very well balanced, it easily switches between serious and funny moments. The plot, dialog and acting all come together to make a cohesive movie. This film has substance yet was hilarious as well, it understands that a serious subject matter can also be entertaining at the same time.

  • The Nice Guys

    The Nice Guys

    ★★★★½

First of all, the two main actors, Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling, have an amazing on-screen chemistry. Crowe is now over 50 in real life, his age is starting to show, but he embraces that completely in this film. Ryan Gosling in the other hand played a totally different character than what he usually do in the past. He also has some of the funniest lines in the movie.

What I truly love about this movie is how simple it…

  • The Disaster Artist

    The Disaster Artist

    ★★★★½

The Disaster Artist is absolutely incredible. I don't want to go into detail because honestly this is one of those movies that is best seen not knowing anything.

The performances were great, the chemistry between Tommy and Greg was perfect. Seth Rogen and the rest of the supporting cast also did an excellent job. this film is so much fun.

  • Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)

Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)

    ★★★★½

The cinematography is just mind-blowing. The fact that they made an entire 2-hour film seemingly taken in one shot is unbelievable. And also very great acting from pretty much everybody.

  • Cam

    Cam

    ★★★★½

Much deeper, darker and thrilling than I hoped it would be. Great cinematography, very well crafted. Madeline Brewer gives an amazing performance in this movie.

Although it left things unexplained that makes the movie makes no sense in the end, which is disappointing, but I totally recommend people seeing this one for the suspense, cinematography and Madeline’s acting.

  • Evil Dead

    Evil Dead

    ★★★★½

Bloodiest, most gruesome horror movie made in 2010s. For mainstream and lowkey horror watcher, I doubt you can even finish this movie.

  • The Invitation

    The Invitation

    ★★★★½

    Very suspenseful and well crafted.

  • The Spectacular Now

    The Spectacular Now

    ★★★★½

Very realistic and heart-warming. Magnificent performances from both lead actors.

A romance movie that you can rarely see today.

  • Bad Genius

    Bad Genius

    ★★★★½

Very suspenseful movie without any actions or guns or explosions. This is an original movie that we can rarely see nowadays.

  • Avengers: Infinity War

    Avengers: Infinity War

    ★★★★½

It’s crazy how they can fit all these characters into one movie and still manage to balance it very well. Balanced is probably the best word to describe this movie.

It has the right amount of fun action and suspenseful moments. This is the first time MCU movie actually has a villain in the story. Thanos has considered to be one of the best movie villains ever. This movie should’ve called Thanos : Infinity War instead.

  • Bohemian Rhapsody

    Bohemian Rhapsody

    ★★★★½

Despite the terrible, very rushed first act, this is an enjoyable, fun and inspiring movie. Rami Malek gives the best performance of his life.
