This was not an easy film to watch and even less easy to reflect on. However, I thought it was really great. Original and brave. Fassbender was stunning as Brandon, he propels the film, using his reactions and emotions to define the character.

While the film and its depiction of sexuality are sometimes difficult to watch, I found myself mesmerized by the choreography and the cinematography. Shame is a very well done film, but one that will divide audiences.
