Didn’t realize I had seen this - I’d forgotten the entire movie. Kind of fell flat this time around.
As long as Netflix’s One Piece Lucky Roux does that same move as the large Lost Boy, I can die a happy man.
Funniest title of all time.
Loads of fun, but once again I need justice for Lisa Miller and the rest of Volume 4.
Not unlike Santa or Jesus, this movie gave and continued to give. What a blessed film.
HOOPTOBER 5.0 CHALLENGE 7 of 31
Monkey Shines is basically Rear Window with B sci-fi and horror elements mixed in. It starts as a slow drama about a quadriplegic learning to live with his injury, helicopter mother and bitch of an ex-wife, and ends as a thriller where everything has gone terribly wrong.
It's not to be taken seriously. A good portion of it is campy or unintentionally funny.
The monkey is incredibly cute, even if it is a psychopath.
