josh lewis’s review published on Letterboxd:
a man who has been systematically broken down into a blunt, uncaring murder tool learns to feel just in time for his testicles to be smashed and heart broken. that pain ultimately just another part of the long, human sharpening process of state-sanctioned killing. still one of the ultimate mic-drop openings to a franchise and some of the leanest, most brutal action you'll see in a movie that cost this much money.
