    Knives Out

daniel craig and toni collette are doing gods work.

  • The Birdcage

    The Birdcage

there’s one shot in this movie that haunts me for how good it is. it’s when nathan lane is rehearsing and robin williams’ son wants to talk to him and the camera follows the son until it lands on a shot with the son in the background between nathan lane and robin williams. it’s an incredible flex in the middle of a very funny movie. also robin williams and nathan lane are insanely good and even though azaria is playing a “gay Guatemalan” and by today’s standards it would be ripped to shreds i can’t help but lose it every time he’s on screen.

  • Bone Tomahawk

    Wedding Crashers

A movie with some reckoning in 2019, but man oh man does this movie make me laugh. Wilson and Vaughn are at the top of their game.

  • Stranger Than Fiction

    Stranger Than Fiction

Watching Will Ferrell poorly play the guitar to "Whole Wide World" inspired me to learn to poorly play the guitar, so I guess you could say this movie really struck a "CHORD" (kill me.)

  • High Fidelity

    High Fidelity

    Problematic? Sure!
    Misogynistic? Oh, most definitely.
But do you remember where you were when you first discovered Jack Black? This movie.

  • The Others

    The Others

I walked into the last hour of this film at meyerland plaza theater in Houston, TX and it scared the bejeezus out of me. Probably should do a rewatch.

  • All Nighter

    All Nighter

    in it?

  • Hook

critics got this one wrong. it’s got some scenes that don’t work but if you were a kid when this came out it’s nostalgic factor is insane.
